JCAS Airways announces new management structure for 2027 launch

JCAS Airways, an Osaka-based regional airline aiming for a 2027 launch, has announced a new management and executive structure effective September 1, 2024.

As part of this restructuring, Toshiyuki Noguchi has been promoted to Executive Officer and Maintenance Manager. Noguchi brings approximately 40 years of aviation maintenance experience, having previously held roles at All Nippon Airways (ANA) and serving as the Head of Maintenance at Starflyer. His appointment is intended to strengthen the company's safety and operational frameworks.

Representative Director Seiji Shirane will remain in his position. The airline, which plans to base its operations at Kansai International Airport and serve routes to Toyama and Yonago using ATR 72-600 aircraft, has rescheduled its inaugural flight to 2027 to prioritize the establishment of robust safety protocols.
