J:COM and Japan Cheer Dance Association sign media partnership

The Japan Cheer Dance Association (JCDA) and J:COM Co., Ltd. have entered into an official media partnership agreement. The collaboration aims to increase the visibility of cheer dance, promote youth development, and contribute to regional community revitalization.

Under the agreement, J:COM will provide coverage of the All Japan Cheer Dance Championships. This includes reporting on the qualifying rounds in September and October 2026, as well as broadcasting the finals held from November 28 to 30, 2026, via J:COM channels and the MY J:COM app. J:COM also plans to produce special programs related to the event.

Additionally, J:COM will serve as the title sponsor for the Cheer Dance Competition in Spring Kanto Regional Tournament, scheduled for March 2027. The partnership seeks to combine JCDA’s competitive activities with J:COM’s media production and broadcasting capabilities to expand the sport's recognition.
