J:COM to launch Cloud PBX service for businesses in November 2026

J:COM Co., Ltd. has announced that it will begin offering ‘J:COM BUSINESS Cloud PBX powered by Tobira Systems’ starting November 30, 2026. This new service is designed to support digital transformation (DX) for small and medium-sized enterprises by providing a cloud-based telephone environment.

Based on Tobira Systems’ ‘TobiraPhone Cloud’ service, the offering allows businesses to make and receive calls using fixed numbers via smartphones and PCs. This supports diverse working styles, such as teleworking, and aims to reduce the communication burden on companies facing labor shortages.

The service utilizes KDDI lines to expand the availability of fixed numbers (0AB-J numbers), including area codes, across a wider range of regions in Japan. By integrating telephone, mobile, and PC communication infrastructure, the service provides a one-stop solution to reduce management workloads and improve operational efficiency.
