JD Vance advocates for mass deportations to lower housing costs

Vice President JD Vance has advocated for the deportation of undocumented immigrants, stating that such actions would address several social and economic issues in the United States. Vance argued that mass deportations would lead to lower housing prices, reduced rent, and decreased violent crime rates by applying the principles of supply and demand.

Vance noted that removing individuals competing for housing and jobs would likely increase wages for middle-class Americans. He also suggested that the Trump administration’s previous deportation efforts contributed to historically low murder rates by removing violent criminals from the country.

In a video statement, Vance emphasized that while individuals in the country illegally are subject to deportation, the administration prefers that they “pick up your bags and return home on your own.” He maintained that no one who entered the country irregularly should remain in the United States, reinforcing the administration's stance on strict immigration law enforcement.
