JD Vance to speak at Republican Jewish Coalition summit

Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to speak at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s (RJC) annual National Leadership Summit in Las Vegas. The RJC confirmed that Vance will participate in a closed-to-press fireside chat during a Monday evening session at the Venetian Resort.

Vance’s appearance occurs amid friction with certain Jewish conservatives and major GOP donors. Some critics have expressed dissatisfaction with the Vice President, citing his past criticism of Israeli officials and his silence regarding commentator Tucker Carlson, who has been accused of platforming antisemitic conspiracy theories.

As Vance is considered a likely successor to Donald Trump, some donors attending the summit have indicated a preference for Secretary of State Marco Rubio for the 2028 presidential nomination. Donald Trump is expected to provide videotaped remarks during the summit's gala dinner.
