JD Vance visits Cincinnati Bengals training facility

Vice President JD Vance visited the Cincinnati Bengals' training facility at the Kettering Health Practice Fields on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, during an electoral trip to the area. Vance, a longtime supporter of the team who grew up in Middletown, Ohio, spent approximately thirty minutes at the facility.

Footage from the visit sparked various reactions on social media. Some clips showed Vance interacting with tight end Drew Sample and wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, as well as head coach Zac Taylor. However, other footage showing players walking past the Vice President led to online debate and claims of a snub.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow noted that he did not have a personal interaction with Vance, stating that the Vice President arrived and departed with “swiftness and efficiency” before the end of practice. Among fans, the visit drew mixed reactions, with some expressing concerns regarding the team's momentum or jokingly labeling the visit as “bad karma.”
