JDC Group launches AI agent for German insurance brokerage

JDC Group AG has launched its first AI-based agent designed for the German insurance brokerage market. The technology aims to support brokers by automating routine administrative tasks and recurring processes rather than replacing human staff.

The AI agent integrates JDC’s existing technology platform and the MORGEN & MORGEN database with generative artificial intelligence. Key capabilities include processing online leads, recognizing customer intent, and managing the issuance of property and casualty insurance policies, such as legal protection insurance, without human intervention.

Additional functions include automated policy analysis to identify deadlines or required actions and handling customer inquiries. The tool will initially be deployed for selected use cases within internal teams before a gradual rollout to external brokers.
