Crvena zvezda signs South Korean talent Je Gon Kim

Crvena zvezda has officially signed 18-year-old South Korean attacking midfielder Je Gon Kim to a five-year contract. The transfer involves a $500,000 fee paid to his former club, Jeonbuk, with a 25 percent clause for any future transfer.

Kim, who wears the number 19 jersey, reportedly chose the Serbian club over interest from major European sides including Manchester City and Barcelona. He cited the club's playing style and the promise of immediate first-team opportunities as deciding factors. Kim noted that he consulted with fellow South Korean player Jung Vu Seol, who recommended the move.

This signing continues a trend of South Korean players joining the Belgrade-based club, following the successful tenures of In Beom Hwang and Jung Vu Seol. Kim, a youth international for South Korea, is expected to play as an attacking midfielder or on the wings.
