Jean-Baptiste Aldigé criticizes officiating after Nice loss to Grenoble

Nissa Rugby president Jean-Baptiste Aldigé has criticized officiating following his team's 37-33 defeat against FC Grenoble in Pro D2. Aldigé expressed frustration over late-game decisions, specifically a sequence in the 79th minute that allowed Grenoble to overturn the match.

Aldigé suggested that the historical status of established clubs provides them with an advantage in how they are perceived by officials. He claimed that because Nice is a newly promoted side, they must be significantly stronger than their opponents to avoid being disadvantaged by refereeing. He further alleged that following Grenoble's previous complaints regarding a match against Agen, there had been significant communication between Grenoble and the head of officiating.

The president of FC Grenoble responded to these accusations, labeling Aldigé's comments as “ridiculous.”
