Jean Barreto de Melo appointed Receita Federal delegate in Feira de Santana

Jean Barreto de Melo has officially assumed the role of delegate for the Receita Federal in Feira de Santana. Returning to a unit where he previously served as deputy delegate between 2014 and 2017, Melo intends to prioritize legal compliance and improve taxpayer relations.

The new delegate emphasized the importance of the Feira de Santana unit, which holds jurisdiction over more than 200 municipalities, including areas in Western Bahia. His administration aims to expand service accessibility by establishing new service points, potentially through partnerships with local municipal governments to reach areas currently lacking in-person assistance.
