Jean Charest appointed president of Fondation Sainte-Croix/Heriot

Jean Charest has been appointed as the new president of the board of directors for the Fondation Sainte-Croix/Heriot. Having served as a board member since February 2025, Charest previously held the position of vice-president.

Charest succeeds Paul Gagné. His appointment comes as the Foundation seeks to expand its role within the health network and address the growing healthcare needs of the Drummond Regional County Municipality (MRC), particularly while awaiting the construction of a new hospital.

Marika Smith, the Foundation's general manager, noted that Charest is a professional and manager who will help ensure residents receive the best possible care locally. Charest stated that his vision for the Foundation extends beyond fundraising to becoming a strategic partner that anticipates future health needs and mobilizes the community around impactful projects.
