Jean-Clair Todibo pushes for West Ham exit to Marseille

West Ham United defender Jean-Clair Todibo is reportedly pushing for a transfer to Olympique de Marseille. Reports indicate the player has entered a standoff with West Ham management to force the move, including refusing to play in a recent Carabao Cup match against Portsmouth.

Marseille is currently facing financial pressure from the French watchdog DNCG and must reduce its annual wage bill by approximately £36 million. The club is looking to offload several players to facilitate new signings, including Nayef Aguerd, who is linked with a return to Real Sociedad, and Facundo Medina, who is reportedly set to join Bayer Leverkusen for a £21 million package.

While West Ham has been holding out for a permanent deal, the likelihood of Todibo's departure has increased as Marseille seeks to restructure its squad and financial standing.
