Jean Deza identifies key talents for Peru national team

Former Peruvian footballer Jean Deza has expressed his confidence in the future of the Peru national team, specifically highlighting Joao Grimaldo and Bryan Reyna as key talents for the upcoming era under manager Mano Menezes.

Speaking on the YouTube program ‘Modo Fútbol’, Deza noted that both Grimaldo and Reyna possess the necessary qualities to become essential players for the ‘Bicolor’. He emphasized the importance of these young wingers maintaining and developing their abilities over several years to help the team regain international prominence.

Addressing recent comparisons between generations, Deza remarked on a previous interview with Grimaldo. He stated that while he believes he still possesses a level of capacity as a winger that has not yet been matched by the new generation, he holds no envy toward the younger players and wishes them success for the benefit of the national team.
