Jean Manuel Mbom returns to training for VfL Bochum

Jean Manuel Mbom has returned to training for VfL Bochum following a serious ankle injury. His return provides manager Uwe Rösler with increased tactical options for the squad.

This development comes as the club shows signs of recovery from a recent crisis. Following a 1:1 draw against VfL Wolfsburg and a victory over Energie Cottbus, the team has secured a spot in the DFB-Pokal round of 16. Analysts suggest the team's improved performance is linked to a recent system change and the increasing form of new signings, including Christian Rasmussen.
