Jean-Marie Pfaff warns competitors not to underestimate RSC Anderlecht

Former Belgian national team goalkeeper Jean-Marie Pfaff has expressed optimism regarding the recovery of RSC Anderlecht. Reflecting on the club’s difficult recent years, Pfaff noted that the Brussels-based team has faced setbacks in various areas, leading to a change in the club’s traditional DNA.

However, Pfaff highlighted encouraging signs from recent weeks, suggesting that the club is showing progress. He specifically praised goalkeeper Colin Coosemans, describing him as a strong leader on the pitch. Pfaff warned competitors, such as Club Brugge, not to underestimate Anderlecht this year as they attempt to return to the top of Belgian football.

In European competition, Anderlecht recently secured a 0-3 victory against Kairat Almaty in Kazakhstan, placing them in a strong position to qualify for the Europa League league phase.
