Jean-Matteo Bahoya suffers ankle injury during international duty

Leeds United winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya has sustained an ankle injury while playing for the France Under-21 national team. France Under-21 manager Gerald Baticle stated that the severity of the injury is currently unknown and that further tests are required following a challenge during a match against Luxembourg.

Bahoya joined Leeds United from Eintracht Frankfurt on an initial loan deal. The agreement includes a £25.7 million obligation to make the transfer permanent once the player reaches 10 appearances for the club. Bahoya has made one appearance for Leeds so far, a brief cameo in a match against Crystal Palace.
