Leeds United signs Jean-Mattéo Bahoya from Eintracht Frankfurt

Leeds United has completed the signing of French winger Jean-Mattéo Bahoya from Eintracht Frankfurt on a loan deal for the 2026/27 season. The agreement includes a mandatory purchase clause that will trigger after the loan period.

Reports indicate the permanent transfer will cost Leeds approximately €30 million. This structure follows a similar model recently used by Frankfurt for Hugo Larsson’s move to Fulham. Bahoya, 21, is noted for his exceptional speed and has made 78 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring seven goals.

The transfer comes after Bahoya reportedly rejected a move to Hull City during the final days of the window. The deal was finalized using a deal sheet to allow extra time for the signature.
