Jean-Pierre Farandou to address AI and poverty in France
French Labor Minister Jean-Pierre Farandou is set to address several key economic and social issues during the week of September 28. His agenda includes a focus on the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market, beginning with a visit to the Maif headquarters as part of the ‘Impulsion IA’ plan. This initiative aims to promote innovation while preparing for shifts in professional skills and training.
On the social front, the Minister will meet with the collective for integration through economic activity (IAE) and conclude sessions regarding professional rehabilitation. Additionally, Farandou is scheduled to appear before a parliamentary commission of inquiry at the National Assembly to discuss the causes and consequences of rising poverty, with a specific focus on senior workers and the elderly.
