The Dortmund Public Prosecutor's Office has reopened criminal proceedings against Jean Pierre “JP” Kraemer, a prominent German YouTuber and entrepreneur, for bodily harm and property damage. The investigation was initially dropped after Kraemer’s wife, Julia Meck, declined to file a criminal complaint; however, legal counsel for Meck has since filed a formal complaint and requested the reopening of the case.

Kraemer, known for the series “Die PS-Profis,” has publicly partially admitted to the allegations and issued an apology to his wife. The couple is currently undergoing divorce proceedings. Additionally, Meck’s lawyer reported that she has received death and rape threats via Instagram, for which criminal charges have been filed.

In the wake of these developments, Kraemer announced the closure of his business empire, JP Performance. This decision is expected to affect approximately 80 employees, many of whom have expressed significant uncertainty regarding their professional futures. Kraemer had previously estimated his group's annual turnover at approximately 100 million euros.

Separately, Kraemer has corrected previous biographical claims, admitting that his mother died in a traffic accident rather than by suicide, as he had previously stated in his 2020 biography.
