Jeana Keough struggles with tongue cancer treatment

Jeana Keough, known for ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’, is facing a difficult battle with tongue cancer. Her daughter, Kara Bosworth, provided an update stating that Keough is struggling significantly following extensive medical interventions, including surgeries on her tongue and neck, lymph node removal, radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy.

Keough is currently unable to receive adequate nutrition orally due to difficulties with swallowing and a loss of taste, making a feeding tube her primary source of nutrition. Bosworth noted that the treatment has been brutal, leading Keough to experience frequent coughing fits and significant fatigue. Keough is currently undergoing speech and swallow therapy twice weekly as she continues her recovery process.
