Jed York awaits imminent NFL discipline decision
San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York is expected to face a decision regarding NFL discipline soon. York is currently staying away from the team to avoid creating a distraction while the league reviews his conduct under the NFL Personal Conduct Policy.
York will miss the 49ers' upcoming home opener against the Miami Dolphins. He also did not attend the team's regular-season opener while traveling in Australia.
The investigation follows York's August arrest in Ohio during a sting operation conducted by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. York pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges, disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools, after responding to an online prostitution advertisement. He reportedly spent two days in jail and was ordered to pay $1,150 in fines.
