In Jeddah, the municipality's rain committee has met to coordinate field responses, focusing on maintaining drainage networks and identifying critical sites prone to water accumulation. These efforts follow significant infrastructure upgrades, including the construction of large drainage channels and protective dams, aimed at reducing historical flood risks and protecting the local economy.

In New Alamein City, the city authority has deployed rapid intervention vehicles and water suction equipment. Officials confirmed that drainage networks and manholes are being cleared, and operations rooms will remain active 24/7 to manage emergency reports and ensure traffic flow during heavy rainfall.
