Arab Union of Sports Journalists concludes training program in Jeddah
The Arab Union of Sports Journalists concluded its first training program, ‘Digital Content Creation’, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Held over two days alongside the Gulf Cup (Khaleeji 27) competitions, the program was organized by the Arab Union in partnership with the Saudi Sports Media Federation and in cooperation with the International Sports Press Association.
The training sessions, led by media professional Dima Al-Sayegh and trainer Abdulrahman Amroun, focused on developing skills in digital content production and modern journalistic tools. The initiative aims to prepare media professionals for rapid technological shifts, including the integration of artificial intelligence in sports media.
During the closing event, the Arab Union of Sports Journalists also unveiled its new visual identity, designed by YANNA for Sports Media and Marketing. Dr. Turki Al-Awad, President of the Arab Union, stated that the organization aims to train at least 500 young Arab journalists annually to ensure they can meet the professional demands of upcoming major sporting events, such as the Asian Cup and the World Cup.
