Jeddah Tower aims to become the world's tallest building

The Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia is under construction and is projected to become the world's tallest building upon completion, expected in 2028. Designed to exceed the 1,000-meter mark, the tower will surpass the current record holder, the Burj Khalifa, which stands at 828 meters.

The structure features a tapering design with three expansive wings intended to mitigate the impact of extreme wind forces at high altitudes. The project involves significant engineering challenges, including specialized foundation work and the implementation of advanced elevator systems to transport people across its immense height.

German company fischer Group is contributing steel and chemical fastening products to the mega-project to ensure structural integrity. The tower is part of a broader trend of record-breaking architectural developments in the region, joining previous landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa and Ain Dubai.
