JEE Main 2027 exam dates overlap with state board oral exams

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a tentative calendar for the JEE Main 2027 Session 1, with exams scheduled to take place between January 22 and January 30, 2027. While official registration is expected to begin in late October 2026, the announcement has highlighted a significant scheduling conflict for students in regions such as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

State Board oral and practical examinations for 10th and 12th grades are projected to occur between January 20 and February 6, overlapping directly with the JEE Main Session 1 dates. This overlap has caused concern among parents and students, as the simultaneous examination periods may increase academic pressure and impact performance. Local stakeholders are calling for a revision of the schedules to prevent these critical assessments from coinciding.
