Jeep Avenger price increases in Brazil following launch promotion

The Jeep Avenger, the brand's new entry-level SUV in Brazil, has seen a price increase of R$ 5,000 less than a month after its launch. The Altitude trim, which initially debuted with a promotional price of R$ 114,990, has returned to its official price of R$ 119,990.

Despite the end of the introductory discount, the Avenger remains R$ 10,000 cheaper than the entry-level Jeep Renegade, which is priced at R$ 129,990. The new price point also keeps the vehicle within the threshold to qualify for full IPI and ICMS tax exemptions for people with disabilities (PcD).

Manufactured in Porto Real, Rio de Janeiro, the Avenger utilizes a platform shared within the Stellantis group, specifically from Peugeot and Citroën models. It features a 1.0 turboflex engine with a 12V mild-hybrid (MHEV) system and a CVT automatic transmission. The model is positioned to compete in the entry-level SUV segment against vehicles such as the Fiat Pulse, Renault Kardian, and Volkswagen Tera.
