Jeep Avenger enters production in Poland and Brazil as Stellantis expands low‑emission SUV line

Stellantis has launched series production of the Jeep Avenger at its modernised plant in Tychy, Poland. The facility now runs on 99 % renewable electricity and has cut energy consumption by 52 % since 2021. The Avenger, a compact B‑SUV, has quickly become a European sales leader, earning more than 11 industry awards.

In Brazil, the Avenger began assembly at the Porto Real plant in Rio de Janeiro, marking the first hybrid‑light (MHEV) vehicle built there. A R$3 billion investment will upgrade the plant, add a second shift and create roughly 800 direct and 450 indirect jobs. The Brazilian model is slated for a 2026 market launch with price estimates from R$120 000 to R$150 000, powered by a 1.0‑L turbo‑flex engine coupled to a 12 V electric assist system.

The latest facelift adds LED matrix headlights, a retro‑illuminated seven‑slot grille, refreshed interior materials and a broadened powertrain lineup that includes e‑Hybrid, 4xe plug‑in, and fully electric versions, reinforcing the Avenger’s role as a key low‑emission SUV for both European and emerging markets.
