Jeep Avenger refreshed for European market with new design and electric powertrains

Jeep has unveiled a refreshed version of its Avenger B‑SUV for Europe. The update adds a redesigned front mask with an illuminated seven‑slot grille, new LED Matrix headlights, upgraded aluminium wheels and two additional paint options (Bamboo green and Forest dark). It also introduces a 360° camera system and expands the powertrain lineup to include a fully electric version and a plug‑in hybrid 4xe, with 60 % of the 270 000 orders to date already electrified.

During a test drive on German roads the vehicle demonstrated its capabilities in demanding conditions. Jeep Europe head Fabio Catone said the company will broaden its European range, planning the large‑scale electric SUV Recon on the STLA Large platform, a new D‑SUV developed with Chinese partner Dongfeng, and two additional B‑SUV models built on the Avenger platform before the end of the decade.
