Jeep Grand Cherokee to receive Hurricane engine and new regional updates

Jeep is preparing updates for the Grand Cherokee lineup, including potential engine changes and new regional releases. For the 2028 model year, reports suggest the inclusion of a twin-turbo Hurricane inline-six engine. This standard-output 3.0-litre engine is expected to provide more power and towing capability than previous configurations, potentially filling the gap left by the 5.7-litre Hemi V8.

In the Mexican market, the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee is being introduced with an emphasis on premium technology and exclusivity. This launch includes a limited Fathom Blue edition, consisting of only 71 units: 50 two-row Summit variants and 21 three-row Limited L models. The updated model features advanced interior technology, including a 12.3-inch Uconnect screen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10-inch head-up display.
