Jeep launches 2026 Avenger facelift with new design, hybrid and 4xe powertrains

Jeep has introduced a facelift for its European‑market Avenger mini‑SUV for the 2026 model year. The exterior receives a refreshed front with a seven‑slot LED‑lit grille, new bumpers, LED Matrix headlights and widened wheel arches, while dimensions remain unchanged at 4.08 m length, 1.78 m width and 1.53 m height. Inside, softer door‑panel materials and a dual‑screen cockpit (7‑inch instrument cluster and 10.25‑inch infotainment) add a more premium feel, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and automatic climate control.

Three powertrain options are offered: a 1.2‑litre e‑Hybrid producing 110 hp, a 1.2‑litre turbo gasoline engine with 100 hp, and a 4xe mild‑hybrid system that pairs a gasoline engine with front and rear electric motors for a combined 145 hp and up to 1,900 Nm of torque. The 4xe provides off‑road capability with 21 cm ground clearance and selectable terrain modes, allowing climbs of up to 40 % gradient. Prices start at €25,590, with the all‑wheel‑drive Upland trim at €34,300 and a special 85th‑anniversary edition at €35,900.

The Avenger remains Jeep’s best‑selling model in Europe, having accumulated over 280,000 orders since its launch in early 2023. In Germany, roughly one‑third of new Avenger registrations are electric, underscoring growing demand for its hybrid variants.
