Jeep announces 2030 roadmap and new model lineup
Jeep has unveiled its strategic roadmap for 2030, focusing on a multi-energy approach that includes internal combustion, hybrid, and fully electric powertrains. A central component of this plan is the return of the Renegade to the European and Turkish markets, with a new generation expected to launch by 2030.
The brand aims to cover approximately 90% of the European SUV market, spanning from B-segment to D-segment vehicles. Key upcoming models include the Recon, a large electric SUV expected in mid-2027, and several new models positioned between the Avenger and the Compass. Jeep also confirmed that every new model in its lineup will offer a 4x4 version to maintain its off-road heritage.
In South America, Jeep has launched the Avenger in Argentina as its first electrified model in the country, featuring a mild hybrid (MHEV) powertrain. Meanwhile, in Brazil, the 2027 Jeep Compass has been introduced with a new 48V MHEV system designed to improve fuel efficiency by up to 11%.
