Jeep prepares second-generation Renegade for 2030 release
Jeep is developing a second-generation Renegade, which is expected to debut around 2030. This follows previous concerns regarding the discontinuation of the model in the European market.
The upcoming SUV will be built on Stellantis’ new STLA One modular multi-energy platform. This architecture provides significant flexibility, allowing the vehicle to accommodate internal combustion engines (ICE), hybrid technology, and battery electric vehicles (BEV).
Despite the shift toward electrification, Jeep intends to maintain the model's core identity by ensuring all new models in Europe, including the next-generation Renegade, will continue to feature four-wheel-drive (4x4) capabilities.
