Jeep announces €1.072 billion European expansion plan through 2030

Jeep has unveiled a strategic roadmap for the European market through 2030, aimed at reclaiming market share and countering competition from Chinese manufacturers. The plan involves a €1.072 billion investment by Stellantis to expand the brand's lineup to as many as six models.

A central component of this strategy is the return of the Renegade, an iconic model that has sold over 610,000 units in Europe since 2014. The new generation is expected to feature electrified powertrains and will target the compact SUV segment.

The brand's expansion will cover B-SUV, C-SUV, and D-SUV segments. Current models like the Avenger and Compass will be supplemented by new additions, including the Recon and another model slated for 2028. The strategy emphasizes a multi-energy approach, offering combustion, hybrid, and fully electric options to suit various regional market demands.
