Jeff Ament announces ‘Since Forever’ visual memoir and book tour

Pearl Jam bassist and founding member Jeff Ament has announced the release of ‘Since Forever,’ a new visual memoir scheduled for publication on September 25. The book contains over 250 black-and-white photographs, approximately 90 percent of which have never been seen by the public.

Most of the images were captured between 1990 and 1998, documenting the formative years of Pearl Jam through backstage, studio, and on-the-road perspectives. The project originated from an effort by Jeff and his brother, designer Barry Ament, to preserve deteriorating 30-year-old negatives. The resulting collection serves as a visual journal of creativity, family, and friendship.

To celebrate the release, the Ament brothers will embark on a nine-event book tour across the United States and London. The tour includes stops in Dana Point, Seattle, Chicago, New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, and London. Each event will feature Jeff and Barry in conversation with various moderators to discuss the stories behind the images and their long-standing creative partnership.
