Jeff Ament releases new photography book and discusses Pearl Jam's future

Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament has released a new book titled ‘Since Forever’, co-created with his brother, designer Barry Ament. The book features over 250 black-and-white photographs captured by Ament, including iconic imagery from album covers such as ‘Vs.’, ‘Yield’, ‘Riot Act’, and the ‘Lost Dogs’ collection.

Following the departure of drummer Matt Cameron, the band recently performed at the Ohana Festival with Abe Laboriel Jr. stepping in on drums. While Laboriel Jr. performed during the set, Ament noted that the band has not yet confirmed a permanent replacement for the drum position.

Ament also reflected on his early photography career, noting that he had to sell his camera to afford his move to Seattle in 1983. He eventually reacquired equipment during the production of the film ‘Singles’.
