Jeff Bacon joins One Nation NSW upper house ticket
Jeff Bacon, a Tamworth-based firearm manufacturer and owner of Oceania Precision, has been announced as the second candidate on One Nation’s upper house ticket for the March 2027 New South Wales state election. The announcement was made by One Nation NSW leader Mike Newman and Barnaby Joyce.
Bacon, an inventor with international patents in firearms technology, has campaigned on a platform to repeal recent NSW firearm law reforms. He criticized the Minns Labor government, alleging that current regulations have decimated the $2 billion firearms industry and caused sales to drop by 80 per cent. One Nation aims to restore gun rights to the levels held prior to legislative changes following a mass shooting in Bondi.
