Jeff Cobb joins Yuto-Ice and OSKAR for title challenge as Will Ospreay defeats Kazuchika Okada

Jeff Cobb has been officially announced as the mystery partner “X” for Yuto-Ice and OSKAR in their challenge for the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship. The match is scheduled for October 12 at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, where they will face the defending champions Will Ospreay, HENARE, and Great-O-Khan.

In separate professional wrestling news, Kazuchika Okada failed to capture the AEW World Championship at the AEW Grand Slam event held in Paris, France. In a highly anticipated bout, AEW International Champion Okada was defeated by AEW World Champion Will Ospreay. Despite a competitive match featuring signature maneuvers like the Rainmaker, Ospreay secured the victory with a Hidden Blade, preventing Okada from claiming the top title in the promotion.
