Jeff Goldblum to host Saturday Night Live UK season two premiere

Saturday Night Live UK has announced the details for its second season, which is set to premiere on September 12 on Sky and Now. Actor Jeff Goldblum will serve as the first guest host of the new series, appearing in a live episode filmed at Television Centre in London.

Irish singer-songwriter and Mercury Prize nominee CMAT will join the episode as the musical guest, performing two live sets. The upcoming season will consist of 12 episodes in total. The first three episodes will air on consecutive weeks in September, followed by three more in early October, with the final six episodes scheduled for early 2027.

The original cast of 11 members is returning for the second run, including Al Nash, Annabel Marlow, Ayoade Bamgboye, Celeste Dring, Emma Sidi, George Fouracres, Hammed Animashaun, Jack Shep, and Larry Dean, while Ania Magliano and Paddy Young return to the Weekend Update desk.
