Jeff Kufi Asare arrested multiple times for alleged sexual assaults in Oklahoma

Jeff Kufi Asare, a 26-year-old man from Ghana, has been arrested multiple times in Oklahoma City over a two-week period following several alleged sexual assaults. The incidents include allegations of sexual battery, indecent exposure, and first-degree rape.

According to reports, the most recent arrest occurred on a Wednesday after local firefighters witnessed Asare allegedly attempting to rape a woman on the Lake Hefner Trail. The firefighters intervened and notified police. Other reported incidents involved Asare allegedly assaulting women near Northwest 23rd Street and Classen Boulevard, as well as near Scissortail Park.

Asare has a prior criminal history that includes charges of breaking and entering, trespass, retail larceny, and injuring an officer. A local district court judge has set a $75,000 bond for the charge of first-degree rape.
