Jeff Lewis criticizes Andy Cohen over babysitter pay

During an episode of ‘Andy Cohen Live’, Jeff Lewis criticized Andy Cohen for what he perceived as low pay for a babysitter. The discussion arose after Cohen shared details regarding a recent childcare arrangement involving his two children, aged 4 and 7.

Cohen explained that the sitter, the daughter of an old friend who recently moved to New York, was hired to help her find work. Because a specific rate had not been discussed beforehand, Cohen settled on a payment of $30 per hour. After the sitter worked for two hours and fifteen minutes, Cohen paid a total of $70 via Venmo.

Lewis challenged the amount, suggesting it was low given Cohen’s wealth and questioning if the payment would even cover the sitter’s transportation costs. Lewis noted that he pays $37 an hour for his own daughter and stated he likely would have paid $100 for the same two-hour period involving two children.
