Jeff Tweedy releases cover of Twisted Teens’ ‘Wild Connection’

Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy has released a cover of ‘Wild Connection’ by the New Orleans duo Twisted Teens. Tweedy shared the rendition via his Substack on September 11.

The track originally appeared on Twisted Teens’ February album, Blame the Clown. In an accompanying essay, Tweedy praised bandleader Caspian Hollywell’s vocals and described his process of performing covers as a way to ‘try on’ music like clothing.

Twisted Teens are scheduled to release their third album of 2026, The Holy Cross Tigers, on November 6 via Sub Pop.
