L'Oréal reports strong nine-month sales growth driven by premium beauty

L'Oréal has reported a significant increase in sales for the first nine months of 2026, with revenue reaching approximately €35.33 billion, a 7.7% increase compared to the previous year. The growth was primarily driven by strong demand in the fragrance, haircare, and dermatological beauty sectors, as well as a surge in e-commerce sales, which grew by roughly 17% during the period.

Geographically, the company saw diverse growth across major markets. North Asia recorded a 14.1% increase, Europe grew by 13.2%, and North America saw a 6% rise. The SAPMENA-SSA region, covering South Asia Pacific, the Middle East, North Africa, and sub-Saharan Africa, delivered the strongest growth at 15.8%.

CEO Nicolas Hieronimus noted that the global beauty market has demonstrated resilience despite a challenging macroeconomic environment. The company's ability to outperform the market was bolstered by a shift toward premium products and a diversified business model that spans various price points.
