By involving nurses in pilot design, Jefferson aims to reduce the roughly two and a half hours per shift spent on charting and to make the technology feel like a practice transformation rather than a top‑down mandate. Mallozzi noted that older nurses tend to adapt more readily, while newer staff may be hesitant to vocalise clinical reasoning, requiring tailored training and empathy.
