Jefferson White to reprise Jimmy Hurdstrom role in Marshals Season 2

Jefferson White will reprise his role as Jimmy Hurdstrom in a recurring capacity for the second season of the CBS series ‘Marshals’. The casting reunites White with Yellowstone alumnus Luke Grimes, who stars as Kayce Dutton.

White’s character, a former ranch hand who moved to the 6666 Ranch in Texas, is expected to travel to Montana to join the ensemble in East Camp. This move follows the decision not to move forward with the previously planned ‘6666’ spin-off, which was intended to focus on Jimmy’s life in Texas. Creator Taylor Sheridan previously noted he would not fictionalize the real-life Four Sixes Ranch.

Other Yellowstone cast members appearing in ‘Marshals’ include Brecken Merrill, Gil Birmingham, and Mo Brings Plenty. The second season is scheduled to premiere on October 4, 2026, on CBS and will be available for streaming on Paramount+.
