Jeffrey Chiquini claims U.S. Delta Force is in Brazil

Lawyer Jeffrey Chiquini has claimed in a video that members of the U.S. Delta Force are already in Brazilian territory for the purpose of kidnapping President Lula. Chiquini provided no evidence to support these allegations.

The claims follow a social media post by U.S. Republican Representative Carlos Gimenez, who shared a montage depicting Lula being arrested, drawing comparisons to the situation involving Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela. Chiquini suggested that the U.S. decision to classify Brazilian criminal organizations, such as the PCC and Comando Vermelho, as terrorist groups could pave the way for military intervention.

While the classification of such groups as terrorists allows for sanctions and asset freezes, it does not automatically authorize military intervention. There has been no official confirmation regarding the presence of American troops in Brazil.
