Jeffrey Epstein estate sued over child sexual abuse material collection
Two women have filed a class action lawsuit in Manhattan federal court against the estate of Jeffrey Epstein, alleging that their images as children were part of a vast collection of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) seized from his properties in 2019.
The lawsuit names the estate's co-executors, former attorney Darren Indyke and former accountant Richard Kahn, as defendants. The plaintiffs are seeking at least $6 million in damages on behalf of more than 40 individuals, with additional requests for $150,000 for each recognized class member.
One plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, alleges Epstein stole partially nude photographs of her when she was 12 years old. Another plaintiff, using the pseudonym Amy, claims she is featured in material that is still being traded today. The legal action also seeks to establish a court-supervised program to identify and notify other potential victims whose images may be in Epstein's archives. The plaintiffs have requested that the estate and federal authorities collaborate with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to facilitate this identification process.
