Jeffrey Herlings wins MXGP of the Netherlands in Arnhem
Jeffrey Herlings dominated the MXGP of the Netherlands at Motorsportpark Gelderland Midden near Arnhem, securing his 17th home Grand Prix victory. The Honda rider achieved a perfect weekend, winning the qualifying race and both motos to extend his championship lead to 143 points over Romain Febvre. Herlings faced significant pressure from compatriot Kay de Wolf, who finished second overall after strong performances in both motos.
In the MX2 class, Camden McLellan claimed victory for the Triumph Racing Factory Team, while Liam Everts secured a commanding win in the second race.
Slovenian rider Tim Gajser finished fourth overall in the MXGP class. Despite a strong start in the first moto where he finished third, a mistake in the second moto dropped him to eighth place in that race, affecting his final standing.
