Jeffrey Herlings wins MXGP of the Netherlands

Jeffrey Herlings, riding for Honda HRC PETRONAS, secured a hat-trick victory at the MXGP of the Netherlands in Arnhem. The win marks his 14th consecutive victory and his 17th Grand Prix win on home soil.

With only three rounds remaining in the 2026 MXGP Championship, Herlings holds a commanding 143-point lead over his closest rival, Romain Febvre. This significant advantage puts him on the verge of securing his sixth world title, which he could potentially clinch as early as the next race in Afyonkarahisar.

During the event, Herlings faced challenges in the sand, dropping as low as seventh and eighth position during the races before recovering to win both motos. Tom Vialle secured third place on the podium, while Kay de Wolf provided significant resistance during the competition.
