Jehovah's Witnesses hold 'Felici per Sempre' congresses in Bergamo and Rimini drawing thousands

From July 31 to August 2, the Jehovah's Witnesses hosted their annual “Felici per sempre” congress at the ChorusLife Arena in Bergamo, Italy. Organisers announced that more than 4,700 people were expected to attend the three‑day program of talks, videos and baptisms. The free event is part of a worldwide series of 19 congresses scheduled for 2026 in countries such as Portugal, South Africa and Thailand. Piero Ragno, spokesperson for the group in Lombardy, said, “Who wouldn’t want to be happy?”

A sister congress was held at the Palacongressi in Rimini, drawing over 15,000 participants from the Romagna and Marche regions. Seventy‑two new members were baptized by full immersion, an act described by spokesperson Roberto Guidotti as a personal decision after extensive Bible study. Attendees reported personal benefits such as quitting smoking and improved family relationships.
