Jeju Facilities Management Corporation sees high interest in first recruitment

The Jeju Facilities Management Corporation, scheduled to launch next January, has reported high interest in its inaugural public recruitment drive. A total of 592 applicants applied for 23 available positions, resulting in an average competition rate of 25.7 to 1.

Administrative roles saw the highest demand, with 467 applicants for 11 openings, a ratio of 42.4 to 1. The most competitive specific role was the Grade 8 administrative position, which drew 254 applicants for just 4 spots, a rate of 63.5 to 1. Technical roles recorded an average competition rate of 10.4 to 1, with significant interest in electrical and environmental water quality sectors.

The selection process includes a written exam on October 17, followed by personality tests, document reviews, and interviews. Final successful candidates will be announced on December 2 and are expected to be appointed in early 2027. The corporation will eventually manage 39 sewage facilities and 3 environmental facilities in Jeju.
